Amy Johnston is a fantastic marketing and communication specialist. I reported up to Amy shortly after she joined the organization during a particularly chaotic transitional period where a lot of leadership, process, and organizational changes were being implemented. While her plate was already overloaded with work, she embraced taking on the additional responsibility of overseeing my area immediately. Amy carved out time in her extremely busy schedule and dug in head first to learn about a new part of the business in a short span of time. What I appreciate most about Amy's leadership skills is that she is an exceptional communicator. Amy consistently provides clear expectations on her asks, which I find to be extremely rare these days. She also is on top of keeping her team fully informed on any top down communications from leadership and cross functionally. Plus, I got the pleasure of knowing Amy on a personal level, and she always made me feel extremely comfortable to come to her with anything -- nothing was ever to big or too small. She made time to really listen to my concerns and assist and guide me in finding a solution. It was my pleasure to work under Amy's leadership and I give her my strongest recommendation to any organization looking for a seasoned and extremely likeable leader.
